Jason Eade - Leaders’ List Award Winner

We're delighted to share that Carousel artist, Jason Eade has won the Local Communities category for the Leaders’ List Awards.

The awards are run by Dimensions and celebrate learning disabled and autistic people who are making a difference and changing attitudes in society.

Jason is a champion of the rights of learning disabled people to access arts, culture and spaces. Since 2011, he has been an active member of Carousel, pouring his creativity and ideas into numerous projects. His recent commitments have included co-hosting Carousel Radio, as well as running and organising Blue Camel Club.

“I didn’t ever think that I’d be nominated so it was a lovely surprise. I just love what I do and sharing it with other people, so I don’t give my work a second thought. It’s great to be recognised just for being creative and doing what I love while helping others to do the same.”
