Ariel Cerebral City at Underworld

A model of a robotic AI head sits in an arch in the Cab Tunnels beneath Brighton Railway Station. The arch is lit up against the dark tunnels.

Watch Ariel Cerebral City by poet and filmmaker Yassin Zelestine (Electric Mutant X) at Underworld this February.

Yassin’s film is a thought-provoking spoken word and video piece. Set in a dystopian Brighton of the future, it explores the relationship between Vanya, a hybrid mutant, and a male Artificial Intelligence being.

Curated and produced by Videoclub and This is Wyld with Annis Joslin and Jackie Marsh-Hobbs, Underworld uncovers the fascinating, hidden history of the underground spaces beneath Brighton Railway Station, including the enigmatic Cab Road tunnel.
